我感覺上，睇我哋用邊種發射器啦, 邊種光纖線la , 琴晚用Corning嘅話 , 應該同銅線差唔多.

唔睇真是唔知乜AOC. 一睇原來是自己一直用來光隔 LUMIN L2 用主網那種光纖 direct cable(UniFi 版）🤣


點解用它其實不就只因為平😰

補充一D 有關 SFP 這個 format(BUS) 之下的事.

LUMIN 是用 SFP 沒有 PLUS 的, 就是 1GBIT ETHERNET 的 SPEC, 其實  SFP 沒有 + 的 1G FORMAT 已是 N 年, 因此 LUMIN 用 SPF 基本不會是問題. SFP+ 也多 SUPPORT 了 1G, 因此 LUMIN 會唔夾的可能是十分細. 我插在 L2 上用到就是 UACC-AOC-SFP10-10M(2代有 MUILT SPEED)

反而 SPF+ 會真有夾線問題. 至簡單是 正是上面說的 MUILT SPEED, 就是不只 SUPPORT 1G 同10G, 還有 2.5G 同5G SPEED. 但因為 SFP+ 是比 2.5G 同5G 也早, 早期的SPF+ 就有只SUPPOT 1 同10G, 同 2.5G SWITCH 唔夾(好就只跑1G, 唔好可以斷斷續續)

另外 SPF+(SFP28) 其實重有 25G, 頭是一樣, 但 FORMAT 上可同. CABLE 以前 25G 就只可以 SUPPORT 25G 的.

其實這一定要 CHECK 有 SFP+ 頭會因唔夠電比 SFP+ adapter 的傻事. 多少 SFP 真是比 RJ45 可以做多D事, 外國就有把 ISP 那 OPTICAL GATEWAY(modem) 成個放入個 SFP+ adapter 到. 另外, SFP+ 出 10G RJ45 的 adapter 也有, 但特別食電. 我GATEWAY 上兩個 SFP+ 頭就唔可以同時用兩個.

當中也說了好多, 還有說好處壞處點用同點選擇....睇完我有點想轉回一般 FIBER, 就算我只是用 Lumin L2.

Every time you remove and insert the cabling, you are wearing out a direct connection on the PCB motherboard itself. That means the wear point shifts from the removable and replaceable SFP modules to the motherboard. If worn out to an unreliable state, the motherboard will need to be replaced on both the Digital Director and Analog Converter. This will NOT be a warranty repair.

The sockets are only rated for a few hundred plug cycles. Depending on the SFP module, it could be as few as 200 to 300 insertions. For any home installation, this will not be a concern. If the system is installed and infrequently moved you will never run into this issue.

This is a severe warning for dealers, demos, and the enthusiast who wants to constantly experiment and A/B cabling in their system. It is a lot of insertions, but we want to make sure you are very aware of the potential cost when and if there is a related failure due to excessive insertions. We don’t want to scare you off from trying AOC, as the sonic benefits are well worth it for long term use.

AOC is Normally SFP+ ,  which support 1G and 10G normally,  但係我有試過 Lumin X1 Transport , 是不支援 我自己的  AOC with switch ,  當然應是 multispeed 的問題.  應該不是 AOC 內部 brand tag 的問題 (like Cisco etc ) .  我用的是 Generic tag , rather than any specific brand.  

MSB 所講的問題 (wearing ) .,   就更highlight 出, 我們media 應該做 A/B test,  做完test,  所有人士便可以根據自己想要聲底.  買自己想要的cable.  那就唔洗傷自己部機啦.
