Not by mobile phone but a quite old Fujifilm camera Finepix S100.  The circuit is not as close as you think, if one uses a handphone to take photo from it, the cars will be as small as fingernail on the picture.

Anyway I am not a cameraphile but a F1 fan so I just borrowed someone's old camera to take the picture.

However I did used my Nokia Lumia 920 to take some videos and post here :

As the phone has rich recording feature which claims can produce clips with CD quality.  So it is good to record the engine/exhaust note from the F1 engines.  Download it and listen and you will know.

The cheapest one is only RMB 380 for 3 days.  No seat but sit on the lawn.
