Auto EQ setup or sound pressure level first??

Hi All,

I am a Pioneer LX-85 user. My question is that should I set the sound pressure level with a SPL meter then perform an auto EQ setup or the other way around?
The reason I am asking is because there is a "Trim" in the auto EQ setup which will change channel's level and I am not sure if it should be taken into account when I adjust the channel levels with a SPL meter.

未玩過Pioneer, 不過我會先行Auto EQ然後再用sound meter 去執下每一個channel嘅音壓，但記住先留意未開pink noise之前嘅環境嘅音壓有幾多，度嘅時候要compensate環境音壓...

pioneer MCACC 的距離是可以信賴的 , 而音壓同分頻點則要微調 . 先行一次MCACC , 之後再用音壓計平衡返各個聲道 , 各聲道的分頻點最好設定在80hz~120hz左右 , 最後喇叭設定small , 一般都可以了 . 最後記得off左個DRC .

Yes, I have 音壓計. Currently, with all windows and doors shut the meter records ~55dB. Under pink noise I have set all speakers to ~75dB except for surround back which I have added extra 2dB to them.

如果ambient已經有55db，已經可以算比較噪。如果用pink noise加音壓計將每個channel只set到75db，個人認為set完出嚟嘅音壓一定有唔夠嘅感覺。我指嘅compensate就係因應環境音壓喺將每個channel嘅音量按量加大。
