A foreign traveler (Walker) unknowingly picks up a rental car that will tie him to a web of corrupt local police

With Fast Five already a hit internationally and gearing up for a major opening this weekend, Variety is reporting that Paul Walker has signed on to both star in and produce another car-based film, Vehicle 19.

The script, which made the 2010 "Black List" of unproduced screenplays, is written by Mukunda Michael Dewil (who will also direct) and will have Walker playing an American who gets caught up in the transportation of a criminal witness, facing off against a corrupt police force that wants to silence his testimony.
