The writer enjoyed the MSB Technology Platinum DAC III for years until he met the Holo Spring which replaced the MSB. And now, his dream DAC is the Terminator which he thinks the one mostly suits for his listening taste.
The MSB Technology Platinum DAC III was very famous in terms of sonic performance and much expensive compared to the Holo Spring and the Terminator as well. I wonder if this is an advertisement only and not very serious in terms of actual sonic performance.

個人選擇D嘢好難講。

話用來代替部msb select dac就有睇頭，這部platinum iii都是舊款死貨

換走好合理，零件都到期，係時候要送走，字眼中只表示terminator表現比預料好

作為前terminator 的用家，我唔覺得佢有MSB 果種動態同空間感。

當然以聲論價，買terminator不算錯，佢有佢獨特之處。

從Platinum III 轉HOLO再轉Terminator，明顯是音色進向改變了，食得清帶微甜野多變左重口味。

至於係唔係廣告就要讀者自己判斷啦

Base on you logic, every post from happy users are advertisment.  And actually most of the user reviews here in Hiendy are advertisment...

Even the authoritative comments on the 6moons do occupy a certain level of advertisement. We have to judge by ourselves how much is the truth on the case. Of course, most brothers here on this column do share their experience on using a gear with pictures like open boxes which I think is believable.

重口味聽什么音樂都有類似的音色。個人認為等于低級。

只是想要听不相同的音乐有不同的音色。讨厌那些有固定音色的器材。

It is hard to say an advertisement as everyone has his own taste. Terminator had got a 6-moons award which means it is one of the best 'budget-priced' DAC.

Agreed as personal taste is subjective.

Frankly speaking, I would pay 1/3 additional price of the Terminator to get a Rockna WD instead.

Yes, either Rockna or Metrum at same price level.

In my understanding, Rockna and Metrum is not at the same price level.  Min price for Rockna is 46k+ in past few yrs and now with the new spec the min price is heard to be 49k+.

And Metrum doesn't work with dsd.

Just my preference. DSD is not an issue as I don't have any proper DSD source.
