Thanks for sharing, your actual experience is always appreciated. you picked the king model really is the best choice if money is no issue. I sure will push it to the limit one day but so far I am pretty enjoying mine. You got what you paid for. It is fun swapping around the models and shows our enthusiasm about our final choices.
It could be night and day among different models in term of sonicwise, but as far as we enjoy our pick, we dont have to pinpoint those earlier models are nothing worth to own. Not to mention if one has never actually owned or listened to before, hence to more subjective opinions spreading around here. I just wished I could try out at my own room before I pull the trigger. Showroom audition simply can not tell much until it is brought home.
I happen to have a similar sound field with the c2300 pairing with rest of my mc setup in my OWN listening room. So my system may not sound right at your room. But I am sure yours should be sounded better in my room. Time will tells. Cheers! .
