By referring to what Linn Forum said, the answer is YES (It applies to all Linn DS - MDS, AKS, KDS)

But before you take any action, I strongly recommend you to read the posts in Linn Forum first.

I opened my KDS/1D and noticed that my "molex" plug is different from the one shown in the photo. So the method shown in the thread cannot be used. Maybe my KDS/1D is the old version and slightly different from the newer ones.
