The Gold Electra is the previous flagship top-of-the-range power cord from Wireworld.



However, the Platinum Electra is launched last year to replace the Gold Electra (both of them are made of OCC solid silver conductor with similar design) but the Platinum is claimed to have some improvements.  One of them is the most obvious on using the new OCC Silver-Clad connectors while Gold use Silver-Clad connectors. The Platinum Electra is around 50% more expensive than the Gold Electra.

The Platinum Electra is now the flagship power cord within Wireworld and the Gold Electra is being phased out. I believe it may be due to the construction of Platinum is nearly the same as Gold with some improvements, so Wireworld decided to dis-continue the Gold Electra.





I just received the new Platinum Electra Power Cord for brief listening, it does have slightly better dynamic than the Gold Electra.  Their sonic characteristics are quite similar, very clear details, silence, good dynamic for both low, mid and high.

可能考慮放出 2 對多出的頂級 Reference Audio Interconnect，2手市場也是罕有，性能及狀態極佳

(1) Wireworld Gold Eclipse 5.2 XLR 1.5m

(2) MIT CVTerminator MI-350 Proline Reference XLR 1.5m (4節棍)

一手自用，有包裝盒，有興趣以上線材朋友可 PM 商討

均是十分高效及還原力強的 Audio Interconnect

所以均成為了以上 2 大厰的早前 Reference 級

Wireworld 與 MIT 共通是其老板均是專注為線材的研發，與及是主要設計師

他們有相同理念去傳送音頻訊號，努力減少音染及傳送過程的訊號被劣化

即是減少味精，把原來的音頻訊號在另一端，原汁原味的重現回來，不加不減

Wireworld : "the closest sound to the ultimate purity of a direct connection"

MIT : "deliver the highest degree of signal integrity"

所以呢兩條線，並非用來校聲，是盡量減少外來干擾把原來聲音改變

Wireworld Gold 及 MIT CVT Terminator MI-350 Proline Reference 效能不相伯仲

我的系統，是屬分析力極強的組合，所以我要求清晰、背景靜、高低延伸的表現，此 2 線均合乎我的要求

Wireworld Gold 較清純，MIT 則較雄混一點，故我一直仍互用他們在我的系統中
