Nice work ching. However I think the X35/55 is almost 10 pounds heavier and depending on where you put the holes, say if you use the feets as mounting point, you might want a thicker one, just sharing.

Ching, seems you have added some metal bars to make the mounting leg longer to fit the new bigger case of JVC PJ, am I correct?

If my guess is right then it is a much simply and cheaper way to make use of the old hanger. What a good idea!

Of course thicker board can hold heavier load but at the same time it put more pressure for the old hanger which supposes to support max. 9kg only. Therefore I just set it at 12mm as compromise.
