For Renew DS, Silver Electra or Gold Electra will be a good match.



But Gold Electra has been phased out and you can only get it from 2nd hand market.

You may consider the Platinum Electra for ultimate performance.



I have all Wireworld Power Cord on hand in my HiFi and AV system.

From the same brand, the performance of different models will be reflected in their price level.

However, there are some tricks when comparing the performance & price amongst different HiFi brands.

One need to carry out studying in home work (consult users) and spend your time to conducting real auditions to find your need.

After all, you need to judge whether the money that you are going to spend is worthwhile or not.

The performance level of HiFi equipment is ALWAYS not proportional.

For example, the price of Klimax DS is over 2.5 times that of its second brother Akurate DS but the performance is only 20% better.

But if you look for ultimate performance, you need to empty your pocket to get the dream machine as your goal.  Otherwise, as an audiophile, you will not sleep well.

換電源缐的效果較大

其次是 Interconnect Audio Cable

再次是釘墊

最後是 LAN Cable

只係一班 Linn DS 及 Lumin 用家的 HiFi Gathering 分享

但因完全沒有利益關係，亦非要你死我活的比試，各人只想知不同 Player 的分別而已

故是相對中肯聽後感受



Klimax DS --> Klimax DS/1 也只有 1 年多

要再超越自己旗艦頂級的質素，談何容易呢?

我下月會到英國公幹，也希望能找時間到蘇格蘭 Linn HQ 拜訪，尋求新資訊

希望 Klimax DS/1 有更新機種

但 Linn 的 Firmware Update 也甚密，且對改善音質有一定幫助了

因此可能不用更新 Linn Klimax DS/1，Upgrade Firmware 已可

但 Raymond 兄你有冇試過 Lumin Play DSD 呢？

另外，如果可以的話，我建議 Raymond 兄你可試一下 Audionet DNP，它的質素已完勝 Klimax DS/1，另外，Calyx 的 Femto 都不錯，可與 Klimax DS/1 平分春色。

CAS 沒有最好，只有更好！

有試 Ripped SACD (DSD) --> 24/88.2

有試同一曲目 Ripped 16/44.1 (CD) vs Studio Master 24/96

有机會，有朋友買入會試其他新一代 Digital Stream Player

I do hope to compare other stream player or streamer + DAC later on possible enhancement of the available equipment and system.



Ths iPad App is Kinsky from Linn which can be downloaded free from iTune.  However, you can use it only when you have Linn DS. But it can be used to operate other stream players.

Alternatively, there are some other 3rd party software such as Lumin, ChorusDS HD, SongBook Lite, etc.  I have all of them, but the best iPad App is still the Linn Kinsky.
