係咪真係有自動休眠?? 聽聞有好多nas聲稱有自動休眠, 但隻hdd仲係低速運行緊.

$590, I only play BDMV, no full menu as in bdp? Only "menu" as shown in pic 2 of #4, sufficient for my purpose as  I only connect it directly to the TV via hdmi cable.....

即係一play就播戲? <---Yes.

But still can bring up the menu as shown by pressing the menu button on the remote.

我都想入NAS,不过又係個句，平既又怕慢，貴既又肉赤，遲下試埋过DDC,睇定d先。  

如果覺得NAS貴, 而又淨係俾600A用, 可以考慮吓network drive吖, 2T都唔駛1k, 駁router, 600A行samba, 夠用啦

見到有部又600A賣4xx <--- where did you see this? Maybe I bought it overpriced.  price.com.hk quote at $4xx, but I could not find in SSP shops last night and the Capital sales told me it is RMB$4xx....

I did not bother to test the wifi feature, as it is intended to be use in prc(watching bdmv soley), no internet connection yet but already have local tv service.

But Synology 213j is about $1,500 only, itchy to try new thing, too many USB HDD enclosures and hdds:-

Stardom esata hdd (2 hdd) box x2 (seldom use, as required esata connector from pc, oppo 93 has only one esata)
Stardom usb hdd box (1 hdd) x1
Century usb hdd docking x1
Orinoco? usb 3.0 hdd docking (2 hdd) x1

8 x WD 3.5" 2TB hdd
1 x WD 2.5" external usb 3.0 1TB hdd (for music)

真係無事出街少破財，諗住去ssp睇下d NAS, 轉头買埋部Himedia. 重見到好多得小玩意，如nexus 7, Lian pc q9,Zotac zbox, note 8.0 LTE....

If I use a NAS, I won't turn it on 7x24, as usage is rare, for straming music to SBT. That's raise another question of c/p that I am still struggling with.

但Nas其中一大作用就係7*24 自動backup資料，所以我覺得無傷大雅嘅。
至於係咪真休眠，我真係冇理過佢！
如果只係For PT 睇File唔洗做backup，買個1Bay隊隻2T落去夠用啦。
