Telefunken ECC803S costs about HK$2K each for NOS. It is good for mid range!

I am now using Valvo 45 degree slanted getter ECC83 tubes as 12AX7 for my Nagra PLL preamp giving very good result for soundstage and analytical power for instrumental musics.

But 1950's and 1960's Mullard ECC83 tubes are better for vocal but their sound character is slower than Valvo and TFK tubes.

For better analytical power, Mullard 10M should be very nice for balanced character. However, price needs to be many times higher
