Hi,
actually,  there is 4 clock inside the LKS.  

2 x TCXO clock at Amamero , 1 x 12 MHz and 1 clock for ES9018 x 2.  

the clock for ES9018 is the most important as it affect the final re-clocking and the ES9018 operation (the oversampling and sigma delta  and that is the real D to A process operation).  

so,  eventhrough if you have a perfect Amanero regenerated data,  and it pass through the main board, as LKS reclock the data again ,  the data  will affect by the clock again.

Hi All,

For the wires,

the Femto clock with discrete PSU:  will have 3 x rectangular shaped UP-OCC(單支方心單晶銅) (5V and GND)  and 1 x 4N OCC Silver(99.99% 單晶鈍銀)  single core for output .

So Amanero doesn't work in "Slave" mode? Too bad, too bad :-( - it is not optimal for board's schematic.

it is NOT the case,  the Amanero work in Asyn USB mode,  after it received the data from the computer,  it used the internal 2xTCXO clock(you can see on the PCB)  and re-clock the data and send to the main board again through I2S protocol.

Between AManero and main board,  there is a isolator board for isolating the noise again.  

So,  bbest hing,  放心 , the LKS AManero still work in best performance. the Slave mode is not on the area from Amanero I2S output .  放心.

That kind of work, with use I2S, seems ok!!

Surprised to receive a PM from a brother who doesn't know Chinese and asked about the effect of changing the Femto clock module. Since I seldom write Hifi reviews in English, I am afraid I may not be able to fully express my feelings vividly. Hence, just want to make a simple conclusion on Femto clock module modification : the background became darker, the clarity of both voice and instrument threads has been significantly improved, and having a better 3-dimensional sound stage. I found the difference is huge that makes it possibly being able to compare with some high price CD players. Hope this helps...
