Hi e679 C Hing, including the C27, I have used 3 Accuphase gears before, and that's including DP67 and DP75V CD players. And with numerous other Accuphase models I have auditioned throughout these years, I could say Accuphase has a very strong DNA of its own. If you like its characteristics, mainly delicacy, refinement, detailing, good separations between musical instruments and a strong sense of presence, this phono amp is tailored for you. But with many other Japanese products, the C27 (as well as many Accuphase products) may be a bit mechanical and restrained emotionally and lacking the ultimate passion towards the soul of music. But by saying so this is a relative and subjective matter, and I recon many of my friends are just so crazy about Accuphase. So the choice is yours, my dear friend!! BTW, it's around $40-45k HKD
