Just compared LKS dual ESS9018 with Invicta in a system tuned for Invicta. Two of us think that the LKS wins in terms of dynamics, responsiveness, soundstage. The LKS loses in terms of less beautiful highs and also less refined. But both these could be modified by changing opamps and possibly improve the electricity. Overall I would say that LKS wins quite a large margin. The owner has a different view because he likes his Invicta more because it gives a richer timbre for solo instruments and also it is easy to the ear. He mainly listens with a very low volume. Just for reference and this is not meant to be the final verdict. But given the price difference there shouldn't be any complaint when one buys the LKS.
Forgot to mention that we didn't have time to test the USB input which I think the Amanero USB module is likely to win too.

Increasing timbre richness shall be achieved by rolling the opamps. Last week , we tried many opamp combinations and found that replacing two of the original OPA1612 to Muse02 will lead LKS towards this direction.

Hols Hing,

I will report the comparison between different opamp very soon.......  , which we did tested a few.

The LKS got 4 opamps(2 for each channel),  we did try different Opamp,  and finally a mix and match with different Opamp model give  a very GOOD balance between musical character and high definition!

Hope I can write the report tomorrow night.

Yes, I am using DAC2, but no chance to compare with any other DSD dac except mytek。

IMHO BM DAC2 is better than Mytek.

May I know which output was used in the comparison, XLR or RCA?
