One showroom (not naming any name) told me it's not enough time for them to setup even when I called 2-3 hours ahead. I felt disrespected at the very moment. However, the sales later politely explained to me that as I requested to test their tube amps, he would like to set it up and make sure he had time to generate the best sound he could.
He also explain that he doesn't want to ruin the first impression of the amp he is selling as I might not go back for audition after listening to it once.
I think it all depends on the sales' attitude. If he reject your request becoz of laziness. That would be bad. If he doesn't want to produce bad Hifi experience and try to be professional, then we should give them the respect. |
