Perhaps you should post onto Geek Force.

I tried RCA vs BNC for same gears same cable and concluded that sound is much better using BNC. However, BNC is not common (true) so even it is suppose a hi-end hifi product, I afraid that they would not do BNC.

小弟的CAS經驗是：playing music files stored in HD (with SATA connection) is usually having much better sonics than those stored in ext usb HD and in NAS.

If Geek Source has BNC connection, I would be interested to hook it to the DAC section of my Naim streamer and PK with my NAS streaming setup.

Then what's this internal HD type? do you mean a scaled down computer or aurender type player?

Agreed！
Direct connection HDD avoids other factors which may affect the sound,eg LAN cable, NAS etc.

The point is that Geek introduces more and more different products and upgrades, I am getting lost and confused. No one ever tried the product before backing, no one knows when it can sing at your home, but guys are paying more and more perks.

Yes, as the USB HDD will interfere with USB DAC in both power and data

BNC always a superior interface in digital audio, u can see them in studio wordclock, SDIF connection, while RCA SPDIF is consumer format.

從字面理解，Lite Ver 可後加內置HDD；而USB in / out 應該是獨立線路

Don't forget the HDD is connected using a SATA cable inside the box.

Always it's how to eliminate/mitigate the noise generated that flow in the signal path that matters.

"... I'm working hard with Jeff for adding USB 3.0 Hard Drive support in Geek Source.

You know me, I like to give a good surprise.

Next week, we will settle the first initial production specification. Then we would start from there.

Geek Source is an important project/product for our future road map. No compromise!
