Willip ching , in my humber opinion, no one tube including very expensive NOS tube is an universal winner. Every one's choice of tubes might be based on the sound what you like. From my choices of tubes in the tube phono amp, you cannot find some kinds of sweet, warm and colorful tubes such as Mullard, I adopted Valvo and Amperer tubes in the amp for clear, dynamic amd linear in whole frequency, but I added tfk ECC88 at last stage for airy, musical and vivid high and mid-range frequency. Hence, every one treasures his owned favour and no one universal favourite tubes in my mind. My favourite sound from the amp is coming from my mixed use of the tubes according to the original circuit design of the amp. |

. In fact, I tried 3 pairs of tubes and only selected the lowest S/N tubes for the 1st stage resulting in more dynamic, more natural sound and analytical in resolution. Equal importance is the tubes used in last output stage, it greatly produces adequate power to push the pre-amp

! 用胆机的好處是可以按照用者的預算和音色取向而改變!
，但啄木鳥也不是輸晒，聽木结他和大牛根重播我覺得它比SME來得真實，SME有點過份美化了這兩樣樂器的聲音，由其是木结他，因為小弟也是弹结他，所以對這件樂器的音色特別敏感，
以上都是一些主觀的評語。
