"        On a kind of Trøn USB, I know what I'll do for the Master Reference. This has been prototyped already. I just have to hunker down, get the right materials onto the right bobbins and payoffs and run it. I hoped for Thanksgiving but now it looks like Christmas at the earliest. It’s not easy being a one-man show. But I do like the control it affords me.


So far I don’t have plans for a Trøn-level USB cable but as always I’ll be experimenting. For now I’ve got the Silverstar. I’m happy with it and as with all my Black Cat Cable products, I hope folks will see it for what it's intended to be: higher performance than its money will buy anywhere else and surprisingly high performance even when matched against the heavy hitters and favorites."

Update:

Master Reference 808 will be available in Early 2014 after final tweak complete, it will be new reference audiophile USB, the price will be USD 450 for 0.5m, USD500 for 1.0m and USD725 for 1.5M, this what I can disclose so far!!!

Update on Master Reference 808, a peek to it's performance level to very best USB cable in the market.

"Lightharmonic very detailed, almost too much. We could hear the individual instruments very well, but they didn’t form a “band” so to speak. Perhaps a lot like the early Wilson Watt/Puppy (I’m thinking WP5/5.1 vintage)
Audioquest Diamond: good detail and nuance, very musical, nice round tones and good harmonic detail. I understand why people think this is a to contender.
808 Prototype: Very similar to the Audioquest, slightly deeper soundstage and slightly better tonality on things like brushed cymbals, trumpet, metal guitar strings."
