100% satisfied with the Memory Player and it had been really long that I have the urge to re listen to all the CD.

For those C Hing who still haven’t entered the world of CAS and believed its sound is inferior must go Volent’s showroom for an audition.

That is actually not the sofa but an ottoman which I used to absorb reflections (better than using carpet).

佢係一部PC，所以行Roon 一定冇問題，不過佢原廠好只係行JRiver。
而佢冇用LPS，只係普通PC switch 牛，不過真係十分之好聲，聽聞佢係個SSD 個firmware 和其他硬件中度做咗很多優化的手腳
建議師兄去聽下

MP 是有其獨特的理念和設計的, 雖然是用了電腦牛, 但聲音表現卻比用了全線性供電的其他牌子 server/streamer 更寧靜暢順和更有音樂味。

小弟有緣曾看了 MP 的內部, 發現它機箱內的電源水塘和過濾 section 又大又復雜得驚人, 難怪要用如此大的機箱了。

Dear rocmanb ,  

Yes ,  it is really silky in sonic !!! and music flow is excelent !!!

MP not really a switching one ,  it got LPS inside the system , it got DAC Power supply and Virtual battery for internal motherboard ,and seperated LPS for digital output and DAC .  


For JRiver,  與ripper 一樣, 都係自己改左的system .  播放唔係由 SSD 上Memory,  而係有自己的 Memory slot 先 caching!

For all SSD for Music Library,  佢地會改左SSD 寫的方法.  會write in sequential ,  and read in sequential ..... will NOT spread around NAND flash ,  it is their US Patent.

真係好聲.....  its ripping implementation is excellent too . Willip hing's got Pioneer 11JX BluRay drive installed too !

Ye, highly recommend to upgrade the BR Rom as the ripping from MP sounds much better.

Yes, I am currently using AES but that is a loaned cable from the Thomas-sir (Father of Titanium).

I am now using Chord Dave and plan to let the MP burnt in and settled before deciding on the AES as I also upgraded the XLR between Dave and preamp to Taralabs 30th.

Broke now.
