上星期, 走去Ben sir 度抬走了U1 mini, 因Ben Sir 隔離鋪裝俢, 好噪, 只試了幾首歌仔,就憑信比錢走人. 返到屋企,一駁上, 就立光見影, 真心講, 起初無乜期望,只是想一試tidal 中的MQA,誰知無論聽NAS & tidal, 都有前所未有的感受, 我唔識用抽象的形容詞表達, 總而言之, 定位,音場, 清晰度,分析度都所有提升.
最估唔到係U1 mini 竟然能夠接通那今我又愛又恨的mytek 192 的USB 2 input.(用過那DAC的師兄就知我講乜), 簡直喜出望外.

Yeah...it's well matched with Mytek 192, esp in AES (sound the best in my case)

剛遇到一個奇怪現象, 在Tidal 播放一首24bit 192kz 的歌, U1 mini 如實顯示(沒有任何升頻), 但在我的DAC mytek192 只顯示96kz.(mytek 也沒有任何升頻), 何解? 但音樂播放仍十分悅耳.
註: U1 mini-->AES---> mytek 192

Tidal 192kHz MQA is transmitted in (folded) 48kHz.  With U1 MINI its MQA goes through MQA Core decoding (first unfold) to become 96kHz to a digital output.  (Without MQA decoding you'll only get 48kHz.)  The display of 192kHz indicates the music comes from a 192kHz master.  These behaviours are true for all MQA hardware transport with digital output, and true for all MQA software including Tidal desktop app, Roon, and Audirvana, as defined by MQA Ltd.

Only if you use a MQA full decoder product with analog output (e.g. Lumin X1 / S1 / A1 / T1 / D1 / D2 / M1) will it fully decode / render to higher than 96kHz, because MQA is an analog-to-analog process.
