湯姆漢克斯擔任甘迺迪遇刺案《Parkland》製片

奧斯卡影帝湯姆漢克斯（Tom Hanks）與老搭檔資深製片人瑞高茲曼（Gary Goetzman），將在自家成立的「Playtone」電影公司拍攝1963年震驚全球的甘迺迪遇刺案。本片由作家Peter Landesman首度嘗試自編自導，片名《Parkland》取自當年甘迺迪受傷後，第一時間被送往的帕克蘭紀念醫院（Parkland Memorial Hospital）。
據說後來暗殺甘迺迪的兇手Lee Harvey Oswald和之後槍斃Oswald的兇手Jack Ruby也都命喪於此地。

The title refers to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where Kennedy was rushed on November 22, 1963 and later pronounced dead. Two days later, his assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald died at Parkland. Several years later, Oswald's killer, Jack Ruby, also died there.

由新銳導演彼得萊斯曼（Peter Landsman）執導的「甘迺迪遇刺事件」電影作品《關鍵目擊》（Parkland）釋出首支片段以及多張劇照，本片改編自文森特巴格魯斯（Vincent Bugliosi ）的紀實文學作品《Four Days in November: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy》。

今年適逢甘迺迪遇刺事件50年，湯姆漢克斯（Tom Hanks）製作的《關鍵目擊》已於威尼斯影展登場，本片除了將還原1963年的事件外，更加琢磨於當時將甘迺迪送往的PARKLAND醫院過程。有別於1991年奧利佛史東（Oliver Stone）執導的《誰殺了甘迺迪》（JFK）的抽絲剝繭的調查結果。

《關鍵目擊》卡司集結了比利鮑伯松頓（Billy Bob Thornton）、查克艾佛隆（Zac Efron）、瑪西亞蓋哈登（Marcia Gay Harden）以及保羅喬馬蒂（Paul Giamatti）。
