oppo 新 models 都係加 4K, 做埋 DAC,
多一亇 USB port, mobile phone 直接連上oppo streaming,
面板改过少少排位. 跟现時93/95 差不多.
但 IEC socket 上面多亇AC Voltage Switch 簡 115/220V,
會吾會係吾用 switching power supply, 改用更靓線性牛供電

They might rush it for the Xmas buying season?  Interesting.

Ow with its own digital input its possible that it could be used as a simple front end for a digital only system.  

So I guess the sales of 93 and 95 will slow down a fair bit unless they have some kind of a year-end sales.

The report says Oppo is making its own power supply?  Anyway for a flagship model cater mostly for audiophile, I would be very surprised if the PS is switching type.

Oppo95  provides 2 power supply circuits. Switching power supply for digitial video and audio. The other is a Rotel isolated power supply for Analog audio circuit.

May be the new oppo uses isolated power supply for both digital and analog audio circuit.

Another interesting info from the same avsforum poster, who obviously is some kind of insider or beta testers under NDA, he replied and I quote:

"Sorry to burst your bubble but the digital inputs will only get you stereo. It's no processor, think of it as a 2-channel DAC.
. . . .

I can't post details just yet (see post #18 above) but your assumption here is not correct.

This might implies that the digital input on the Oppp 105 might pass multi channel digital signal, which has the implication of accepting input say from a media player !

I'm not eager to change to 105 as the new features are not useful for me. The inclusion of Cinavia and  the new oppo mostly does not support iso playback which is a great draw back for upgrade. I think only the new QDEO processor chip which may improve the picture quality is interesting so far.
