LG Optimus G stars in official LG product movie


Dying to be an LG Optimus G owner? The Korean manufacturer used vertical integration to create its most powerful smartphone yet. Some of the new features that came entirely from LG technology are highlighted in what the company calls an official "product movie". Don't expect an Academy Award winning performance from the top-shelf handset as most of what you are seeing is a description of some of the features and selling points for the phone.

No pentile display on this beast



There are two versions of the product movie, one longer than the other. Some of the highlights include the True HD IPS Screen which uses a RGB Matrix instead of a pentile display, and brings you a 30% higher graphic quality. Thanks to the powerful quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor on the LG Optimus G, videos offer a "buffer-free" experience. The battery on the phone offers 15 hours of talk time and the camera awakens quickly and Time Catch allows you to capture a subject in motion on one photograph.
