just received raspberry today. waited for a month. didn't know it arrives today, so bought Voyage MPD Starter Kit last week :(

如果唔識 Linux, 買 Voyage Starter Kit 或者買 Cubox 會好D.

如果係 Voyage Starter Kit 開機插 USB key 就可以播歌

其實一樣, 不過Voyage的無跟機火牛(要9V DC) Cubox 有跟火牛 (switching PSU 5V).
如果你的歌在NAS上, Cubox 的話只要加一句教佢每次開機都 map 去 NAS.

這個我不太清楚, 你可以直接問 audio-gd, 只要它的 USB chip 是 support USB Audio Class 2 便可.

You can test it on your own PC/Laptop.

1) Go to Voyage website and download the Live CD (image).
2) Burn the Live CD (image) to a CD/DVD
3) Plug a USB Flash Drive (with music in it) to your PC/Laptop.
4) Plug a network cable to your PC/Laptop.
5) Connect the DAC and PC/Laptop with a USB cable.
6) Insert the CD/DVD to your PC/Laptop.
7) Config your PC/Laptop to boot from CD/DVD.
8) Boot your PC/Laptop from CD/DVD.
9) find out the IP address and config MPD client

that's it. you can use MPD client to control it.

According to the official web site:

It uses USB-32 for USB input, and it claims "USB Audio Class 2 High-speed Input from Windows / MAC / Linux", that means it is supported by Voyage / Cubox.

Of course, you should send an email to ask them. 何先生 will reply you shortly.

好期待 Raspyfi 下一個 release。剛睇到開發者聲稱已經解決 USB audio 有 click/pop 聲既問題，尤其係播 16/44 以上既時候。最令小弟期待的是將會 support soptify. 唔知道會用乜 app 去揀歌呢?

新features有：
有built-in web ui, 不用裝任何app.

RamPlay

最後呢個preject會改名叫Tsunamp，將會support其他hardware同Linux.
