$17xx ? 美金吧 ? 萬幾蚊買部自稱4K 嘅 Media Player 返嚟, 好似好唔抵喔

Redray is not a official 4K video format,  根本未來4K 格式都未定案, 點降會有.........

從網上找資料, 根本只係用軟件將2K轉為4K....... 等等.......

呢部機可能係俾用戶睇返用RED 4k機拍既footage用架？

從官方網頁技術規格所看, 它只能播放 .RED & .MP4 (4K 檔案格式) (去邊度揾)
到頭來, 可能要自己用佢嘅軟件將 2K or 其他 4K 檔案再做一次編碼先可用這部 player....

Red is one of the most famous high-definition film camera manufacturers in the film industry, take a look here and you know.  Many top, big budget sci-fi films like "The Hobbit" and the coming "The Pacific Rim" were shot on customized Red cameras.   

RedRay has actually been announced for quite sometime, it is not the run of the mill media player as some might imagine.  It plays Red's own native 4K (4096 x 2160) content or can upsample HD content to 4K.  Since it is not even available yet there is little actual information available but I understand it plays file based and network 4K content.  

As another ching has pointed out 4K format is not finalized yet, many details are remain to be seen, don't get too overly excited just yet.  

Its all about the content, hardware is just a medium to get you there.  USD 1,750 is not such a big deal for many people but before there are abundance of material you can actually watch, it doesn't mean all that much.

只要負擔得起就一樂也,無咩所謂的!!!
加上你能在此毒網遊歷多點,
就會發覺$是無咩特別的!

4K既影音玩物都就黎到了,甚至乎已經到左,
小弟做定功課去迎接,
給各C兄討論一下而已!!!

玩咩都好,咩價錢也好,最緊要玩得開心!!!

按某外國forum知情人士話已取消預訂咗嘅 RED RAY order, 因為未來嘅同類服務會平好多, 隻產品已delated半年;

RED另一個話題是 : 定價一萬美圓的4k laser pj, 預定今年推出, 可惜同RED RAY一樣只聞樓梯響. RED已經暗中取消promo;

好多member終於明白 : 短期内個laser pj不可能投產, 尤其係以該定價而言;

RED係著名拍攝器材生產商, 可惜暫時未係合格的軟件供應商 / 消費器材生產商.

Sony嗰隻好平但無HK份;

對香港人嚟講, 除咗價錢之外, 4kTV(喺美國正名應該係UHDTV, 費事俾人告)size細(Sharp 32" mon. 或者55"未必能佰份佰表現4k); 或者屋企細先係問題.......

如Redray出投影機如是傳聞的定價(1皮美金),
咁就真係平過Sony VPL-VW1000ES 4K SXRD 3D Projector 好多了!
因為香港代理好似無返貨,而外國訂購價大概是2萬5千美金,真係.................金!

一台只對應2D, 睇3D要兩台;  ←好似唔可能?
