Adam A5 is old model and no good to buy? Just spotted a pair of A5 (bought in late 2010, price now @$4K in r33).....

A5X is the new model.  A5X is roughly equal to old A7 in both performance and price.  A5X should be around 8K in HK but you can find cheaper price if you don't mind water internet ones.

You may also consider Focal or PSI for active speakers.

Friends of friend bought it from the internet.  Sorry that I have forgotten the link but the price should be 1K less and it's to be shipped overseas.  Don't forget to check the price quoted may be for single speaker only on some web sites.

In HK, you may try ADAM in Luen Hing, Tsang Fook or Acoustic Engineering (Ar Gor) http://www.acoustic.hk/

You may have a look at Genelec, Neumann, Alesis for active speakers from various price range too.
