Oppo 加 Darbee = A New Product BDP-103D !

很多 hiendy brothers 都有用 Darbee 來改善影象重播。 Darbee 將會推出設有 touchscreen control的 旗艦級 processor Darblet ：


但更震撼的是 Oppo 和 Darbee 將會有一個 fusion product : BDP-103D




它共有三組chipsets :
(1) Signal 先經過 MediaTek chipset 造 deinterlacing ，upconversion 及 basic video processing.
(2) 然後 Darbee processor 的 luminance-based processing 會工作和加 depth。
(3) 最後的 4K upconversion 是由 Silicon Image chipset 負責。
只有 1080p 才能使用Darbee processing。


它將會在 4Q2013 推出，價格比103 只是畧貴了大約 US$100。  

但因裏面是加了 Darbee的chipset，所以舊的103是不能upgrade。

Darbee Fidelio Demoed at CEDIA 2012
We got a chance to check out Darbee's new higher-end image enhancing product for next year, the Fidelio, at CEDIA. Just like the Darblet, the Fidelio can vastly improve upon standard visuals. While it's still a ways off -- a Darbee rep said it'll ship in Q3 of next year(2013) -- they had a prototype of it running at the show. As you can see, it's definitely for the higher-end consumer: it has a slick looking video equalizer, a touch-screen user interface, and it's wifi-enabled for downloadable features. Darbee says it'll likely retail in the $2,000 range.

去年avs網友對此概念機的評價不太正面, 如果今年保持價錢不變, Lumagen + Darbee將會是更佳選擇.

i think they are trying to make you sell your 105 and buy the 103d now.  after a few months or weeks they will have the 105d released and your will then sell the very new 103d and get the 105d

BTW, I think 93 is better than 103 and 105.
