Quite a bit cheaper than Certon Integrita but not as much storage space and Buffalo only supports RAID 0 or RAID 1. But good enough for me. Now need to think about what power cable to use!!

I believe RAID0/1 is better for audio use since it would use less motherboard and cpu resources (I expect it's onboard RAID controller and software RAID) and less power consumption.

QNAP HS-251 already on market. Spec much improved over HS-210

I am not sure if bigger HDs can be installed.

So far, it's working fine. No problems at all. I was using Synology 214 which worked well but DELA is a big upgrade in terms of built and structure. Sound-wise I haven't really noticed any big difference but it "feels" better for sure since this NAS is designed for audiophiles. If you are spending so much money on your system already, I don't think you want to use a $2k NAS.

I must say don't let the price of a NAS by a server company fools you. They are very capable devices for audio playback and can cost A LOT if you put in them appropriate drives and other fine tuning devices.
