Mc252 vs Mc 302

Hi Ken Sir

Looking for power amp to match c2500 , MC252 (looking for second hand) or MC302 is better ? I use B&W 804D speaker.

Looking forward for your advice.

若以你心宜之喇叭品牌而論，當然必定是 MC302 啦，  Power 為首先考慮條件，二來 B & W 在 amp. 之匹配上適宜有較大控制力的機種，而音色上合厚暖穩重為佳，固此 McIntosh 正正一拍即合如魚得水，然而除非你喜歡的是干淨清通那一類，這樣則以歐洲機種，如瑞士 Goldmund 等一族去匹配，才會合乎此種味道。

Hi Ken Sir

Dun know why there are static noise from my 804D when using the av by pass , any idea ? Is it cause by the ground loop from my Onkyo 828 AV amp ? Would it be better if a change to ithe av amp ? Thanks

And also I put my c2500 inside the Gigi rack and could not see if the tube s are working properly. How could I know if the tubes working properly or not ? When should I replace them ?

這個是最經常容易遇上的頭痛問題，通常在單一的系統之上是較少碰上噪音大的情況，但在 AV passthru 之下因為 AV amp. 所連接之音源繁多而且太多不帶有地線，因此有地氣不足的情況，噪聲會容易感應匯集，而最大可能帶入的地方大多由視頻端或天線滲入，AV amp 此時等同前級放大(冇地線)，再交由有 power amp 放大輸出 (有地線)，因而從假地氣引發較大之噪聲。
處理方法，必須找尋出真正噪音原頭，可先拔走 AV amp. 所有輸入音源，再遂一駁回試試，發現來源再加以處理，其變數太多很難一概而論，不是追加地線又或去除其他地線就可以百分百解決，詳細情況可向我們維修服務中心請教與查詢 : 29477210

一般真空管(膽) 是不能單憑眼晴去判定是否正常運作的，只要有正常輸出那就是可以了，而一般 McIntosh 前級所使用的放大管為 12AX7 ，其功率輸出少而發熟量亦細，因此耗損率亦不太快，壽命自然較大功率管長得多呢 ，正常使用由 7、8年甚至十幾年不等。  如若使用年期久了，在音色上出現沙聲，或有跳火 「㕷㕷」聲，甚至跳保護自動關機，那就必須送往維修服務中心去詳細檢查一下了。

Dear 師兄，
如果要匹配 B & W 喇叭效果好，經驗上越夠 Power 就 越好聲，那相信很容易理解，其對 power amp 之推動力較有要求，因此 300W RMS 的 MC302 會比較理想。
