Spike plate for Sasha 2 or other WA?

Hi,

Had been using the original plates from WA; any high hands can share what they use for their Sasha 2 or other WA speakers?

If you use a set of stillpoints ultra SS under your Sasha 2, there will be a big wow in your face. No spike plate is needed.

I use Stillpoints under my Wilson Audio speaker, there are a perfect match, particularly with the new silk dome tweeter.

I use Stillpoints Ultra 5 under my Alexia. Yes, four pieces per speaker and attach them directly under the base plate. There are matching holding screws with correct thread that you can get from Stillpoints for this purpose.

It is quite a long time and I can't really recall.

The sound is actually very good and no complaint, but I just had the feeling that the character is too strong.

Hi ching,

I have it for almost 3 weeks. My initial impression was quite strong in character, full range have changed to a bit rough, especially the low was messy.

By now, it is getting smoother for full range. The high and mid is so wonderful.  I can visualize Diana Krall's bronze hair when I play her California Dreamin'.  The low is much solid and tidy.

I agreed with you that 999 is quite strong in character which may not be everybody appetite.

Previous icon FE ceramic series sound pretty metallic to me.

Stillpoints will sharpen everything. Imaging is more focused. Bass is tighter and more toneful. Treble reaches higher.

There is a sense of increased resolution. It is like increasing the sharpness of a picture using photoshop. That is why I said it particularly suits the new Wilson Audio silk doom tweeter. Some find the silk tweeter behaves too soft. Stillpoints just compensates this weakness.

Everyone I know who has tried the Stillpoints has the same impression.
