Linn LP 12 - ARO vs EKOS SE?

I bought a system with Ittok+Lingo recently. It is a very old Sondek but in perfect condition. I also purchased Aro upgrade tonearm. I haven't set it up yet but from what I heard Aro will be very good.

I just got an offer to upgrade to Aro Keel at around HK$25K. But once I upgrade to Aro Keel, I won't be able to use Ekos SE, unless I buy another Keel subchassis. So if I decide to go for Aro Keel, there is no turning back, and the only upgrades left will be the cartridge, Radikal and Uphorik. It will be a long way for me to get there but  it is time to think ahead before deciding whether I should buy Naim Aro.

You may consider getting two of the most suitable tonearms for the LP12:
1. Acoustic Signature TA-1000 <9-inch version>;
2. Moerch UP-4.

From 1981 to 1983 I used the Danish uni-pivot tonearm UP-4 on my Linn deck. I found these an ideal combination though initial tuning of the tonearm was a painstaking task. For audiophiles who demand simplicity and ease of use I would recommend the TA-1000. You can reach Richcoln Company Limited for further advice.

陳sir, 請問 UP4 可用在和 LP12 很相似的 Thorens TD125上嗎？

只要安裝孔位置準確即可。以兄弟記憶所及，UP-4 <9吋> 的軸距應是212mm。

Ed hing， TD125 是用緊SME309臂嗎？小弟套TD125幾年前帶返香港，用了一陣斷咗條臂缐，裝了新之後就hum聲不絕，最近已交給朋友去揪出元兇，裝埋粒Goldring 2500 上去便可重出江湖
