設計個network時，有預埋做video streaming，所以加咗個switch將hub嘅function同wifi router分開，但實際上係十分少做video streaming，變咗個switch淨係music streaming用。

呢幾日測試以現有嘅器材組成幾個唔同嘅network configurations後，飛咗個switch嘅效果可以更好。

好多原因嘅，雖然好多時表現都會好咗。

I used mac airport with Kenneth Lau LPS before as a router and skipped switch. But after added a switch then the background is more darker.
Then I AB netvigator vs Cisco switch. Cisco is better in high, more open, but more noisy. netgear gaves darker background and bass, but a little less at the high.
So I chooses Cisco.
After I changed to this buffalo, first few days were very bad sound. After boil and gave a better cable then a lot a lot better! KO all my Cisco and netgear.
After Kenneth make me a adpator, so I can use the LPS, obviously more darker background. And meat and emotion were backed. Mirco detail increased a lot.!!

最理想的就是 Paul Pang 把這 Buffalo switch clock-modded，然後再加上 Kenneth 的 linear psu。

Cisco加埋LPS都吾及Paul Pang個switch (我只用佢個垃圾电子牛!) Cisco d 聲相对較飄, 而Paul Pang個隻低頻下潛有力好多, 結像亦相对鮮明! 而Paul Pang個隻都係USD 150! 現在解楽堂代理! 吾洗隔山買牛, 而我都考慮緊整個LPS俾佢!

不過樓主和Kahw兄講到Buffalo咁吸引, 攪到我都想整返隻玩下!

如果我部streamer有harddisk, network switch只用來傳送音樂檔from PC to streamer harddisk, 播放音樂檔都是由streamer, 好既network switch其實有冇好處?

今晚裝了樓主做俾我的改裝零件，過程不複雜，好快就完成。

一開聲，背景明顯更靜，所有嘢都立體咗，人聲好有黑膠味，用這部 Buffalo switch 的朋友一定要改用 LPSU

The function of switch is more obvious if using tidal streaming in my case.
Cause we proofed with two chings that router is actually very noisy.

And we ab again with Cisco and netgear again! If setup right, buffalo still win a lot! Of course need mod with LPS.
But I tried to using the original switching power support with a gigawatt lc-3 MK 3 with Furutech IEC, the result was good too. Just LPS is much better.

Yes, I used Cisco + LPS before.
But I AB with buffalo audio gear one.
Much more expensive than Cisco.

So it is not a fair comparison.
