Operational principles
In ultrasonic cleaning, a membrane makes the cleaning liquid oscillate very strongly. This creates a defined blistering of the liquid. After a short time, the bubbles implode, releasing an extremely large amount of energy - the dirt on the surface and in the grooves is literally "blasted off". At the same time, both sides of the record are cleaned by two counter-rotating microfiber barrels. These barrels, driven by counter-rotating wheels, remove the coarse dirt and move it into the cleaning liquid -out of the surface of the record. |
