For both cases, the total power output should be the same (= double the single amp connection).
However in some situation as mentioned below may exhibit difference from the application principle.
For Bi-amp connection,
Each of the amp will usually drive the upper and lower frequency drivers of the spk individually. Since the frequency split (or the crossover frequency) and practically for different music content will have uneven distribution of upper and lower frequency content, the power output cannot be shared between the two amp in bi-amps application (i.e. if in case there has a strong drums music with little upper frequency content, the power output from the amp driving the tweeter cannot be shared to the other amp for driving the woofer).
For Bridged amp connection,
The total power output from the bridged amp will be shared (in relative sense) in a more flexible manner for driving the upper and lower frequency unit of the spk.
The above situation will not be applicable for driving a full range (single driver unit) spk.
