Arcam release free streaming App for iPhone and iPad

Arcam has released a new iPad / iPhone streaming App that goes by the name SongBook and it’s completely free of charge on iTunes.
The new SongBook App, brings full UPnP support to the new Arcam airDAC and updates the UPnP streaming for eight other Arcam components, all of which feature Arcam's advanced network streaming music player.

You will be able to use Songbook with the AVR750, AVR450, AVR380 2013/14 AV receivers as well as the AVR360, AVR400, AVR600 2012/13 AVR’s.

It will also work for the AV888 Pre-Amp Processor and Solo Neo one-box system.



The new versions of Arcam Songbook gives complete control of the media player in any Arcam network-based music system, including advanced features such as playback of content stored on iPhone, iTouch or iPad, NAS drive, Mac, PC and more, with library searching, sorting, shuffle & repeat playback.

The app also allows you to play lossless files up to 24bit / 96kHz resolution, streamed via UPnP from any computer, NAS drive or Music Server running a UPnP server. A number of popular media servers are supported, including Songbook Mac, Twonky, AssetUPNP and MediaTomb.
