Puccini's upsampling is ok. Some songs are good and some songs are no differences. In general, it is a nice features to have.
However, if we are talking about paying over 60k to get this feature, well, I don't know... dCS claims the standalone Upsampler is much better than the all-in-one solution from Puccini. That's why I wanna know the user opinions about the upsampler.
hi, anyone knows how to setup among an external dvd player, puccini as dac, and u-clock altogether to achieve dsd upsampling with accurate clock effect? i have a cd but not recgonized by puccini and therefore have to play it with a cheap dvd player. but i do want to get the dsd upsampling or pcm at 192khz with accurate clock locking. i can just think of below connectivity:
dvd player digital rca out
puccini spdif rca in
puccini wclk in
u-clock #3 out
would such wiring leads to my desire? thanks for advice in advance!!
