VS X8 DVD problem

Hello,

I have made a slideshow with music and burned it straight to DVD. The video plays ok on my PC but not on my DVD BluRay player. I thought it was because it is on a DVD.RW but have played these before on this player. It plays ok but at the same point the audio stops and the rest plays ok. I have burned this short video about 6 times using MPEG format but the same thing happens.I have also burned it on a DVD R without any luck.
I have tried other music but the same thing happens.Any help appreciated as this is for someone who has had a bereavement and it it full of memories.
Please help.
