Hi ,
U1 Mini 是 Network Transport / Streamer ,內部是沒有解碼器的.  你可以透過 USB cable or Coaxial 連接你的CD 解碼呢.

depends on your DAC coaxial input (NOT the Lumin) ,  Lumin U1 Mini coaxial can output DSD64x in DoP fashion.

Lumin can output DSD to AES / BNC coaxial / RCA coaxial / toslink via DoP format.

Some DAC can decode DSD via these connections (e.g. Mytek), some DAC cannot (e.g. McIntosh).

Hi mm622 hing ,

can't find the info on the Esoteric website .  you may need ask your dealer or distributor for accept DoP in Coaxial input.

Lumin can output DSD64 (DoP) via coaxial, but some DAC do not support it.

Even though DoP input of N-05 works, I'm not sure whether this applies to K-03X as the K-03X is a comparatively older product.

U1 (MINI) USB output to K-03X should work, including DSD128.

On the other hand, if I like to play DSD file on like, WD external hard drive, do I plug in the USB port of U1 mini and use the USB output to my DAC?  

Does the U1 mini supports streaming of MOOV?

2. u can plug external USB drive and connect to usb dac at the same time, playing dsd64x got no problem.
3.  You can play MOOV via AirPlay to U1 mini , U1 Mini is a AirPlay supported device .

On boot up, Lumin displays "Network Error" if the router DHCP server does not give it an IP address within a reasonable amount of time - which can be caused by network cable issue, 100M vs 1000M network issue, or router issues (or need to reboot the router), etc.

If during operation, it shows "Network Error" again after playing for a while, you need to check the network cable.  Observe whether the network LED flashes normally at both the router side and the Lumin side.  Also try a different CAT-5E network cable to a different port of the router/switch.

If both U1 mini and Zen mini III use the same LPS for USB output to the same DAC, which one better in sound?
Also if U1 mini use a good LPS, sound close to U1?

USB and traditional digital can't be output at the same time .

can't compare btw U1 mini and Zen mini mk3 ,  diff product function,  zen mini is a ripper/ music server with streamer product,

u1 mini performance can be affected by many Ethernet cable, for audio switch,  roouter and NAS LPS .....

so it is hard to tell which one is better since they have diff functions .

u1 mini with LPS can perform REALLY well.
