Your size of listening room seems very good.
Try to setup the speaker around 2m from the front wall and around 650mm from the side walls. The speaker should be 1.8m apart. This should improve a bit. Check out the result first. If not good, speaker should be moved more away from the front wall.

I think I must have tried this many times before. In fact in the last 15 years, my speakers have been moved many many times and may be 3/4 of moves is by half cm with toe in or toe out angle changes by one or two degrees. It finally sat down when it appears giving me the Concert Hall feeling. I think the over all Volume of Room as well as its dimensions have a relation to the position of the speakers. It is true that my left and right speaker standing location have equal measurement from the side walls and equal distance from the front wall now. After that I need to work out the compensations for sound energy differences and keeping improvements. I hope to get some new ideas to apply the home furnitures as yours for further improvements.

I place one Ikea Kallax (see the pic) at the back wall of the listening room. My listening position is approximate 600mm away from Kallax. The sound waves are trapped within the Kallax.........
