據我所知 HDtracks 係無講的，佢只話佢地會每個 file 都用 software 嚟 check 係咪真 hi res，唔俾佢 oversampling 就過骨。

無用的，hifi track的DSD，有很多都是唱片公司用16/44.1轉的。原生24/96的就是真的

Its a fact that revenue from music download is in decline, not to mention high-res file download which serves an even smaller niche market.  Tidal and Qobuz offering hi-res streaming in the past year or so has an even greater impact on high-res download purchases, why spend USD20-30 on a single album, when you can spend the same amount every month and choose from thousands of high-res titles, assuming there is no audible difference between the two sources.   HDTRACKS specializes in high res files purchase, its quite natural they are and will be facing harder times in the years to come.  I have been their customer for a longtime but I have rarely bought any in the past year or so.

Just take a look at the RIAA 2018 music industry income report below, a whopping 75% of the income comes from streaming services, and in the past 4 years digital download income has decreased by more than 50%.  We here might buy a few high-res download occasionally but who else would?

There is no practical way you will know whether they are genuine high-res files or not, HDTRACKS only sell you what the record labels sell them.  There was complaint before about customer not getting real high-res but HDTRACKS does not produce those tracks so they could only rely on what record labels sell them.

This is a very old news (SACD turns out to be CD), but an example of 'you never know what you are going to get' ;), so just relax and enjoy the music.

如果係PCM , 只要用spek 或任何check spectrum的軟件，就可以睇到是否真高清, 如果係SACD(DSF) , 就用軟件轉DSD64的DSF成24/176.4的WAV/FLAC先再Check, 我係電腦forum跟人學的, 結果係暫時未見到有真DSD64, 因為大多數最高到22kHz已無信號，有D有良心的到30kHz左右無信號，信不信由你，可以自己試, SPEK係Mac freeware
利申，未買過網上音樂，我測試的係由自己的碟轉出來試的, 結論: 我已無買SACD了 (但可能會試下買HDTRACKS)

good info., spectrum analyzer is a good way to check, and also a good way to show what you are paying for :)

but this does not mean the same DSD titles you download from unknown sources are the same as those on the list, as we all know converting 16/44 to dsf files is just a click of a few buttons.
