Fully agree, simple is beautiful. Less component, less interference.
I use netbook in home visits which is portable and sound great.

Any interest to organize a CAS experience sharing event? I recently have good progress with new tweaks.  We may compare different CAS digital sources and gain more experience. I'll bring my tweaks and USB cables to share.

Sorry, we used to be in Center many years ago. But rental is just too expensive. I think nobody want to see any price increase after setting up demo facility.

Just have W4S Music Server-2 connected to Wyred4Sound DAC2. Now I have I2S 24/192 signal to drive DAC2. That is wonderful sound. I have taken a few picture this morning after I tested it.



ipad running "mPaD" to control W4S MS2.


I also use iphone to control W4S MS2. Chinese and Japanese are no problem at all.



Having more hands-on with it now and so far so good.

mpad 要比錢下载嗎? iphone/ipad communicate with MS2 via wifi? If I don't use NAS and computer, can I use iphone to conrtol MS2?

mPod is free.  run on iphone. Work very well with MS-2.
mPad is only US$3 or so.  I cannot remember.  I don't mind pay for it as it is very well written.

In fact, it is the picture taken on iphone running mpod.
