有啊！u7用德仔802s. T7用貓乸長屏方環。功放膽用KT88 genalex Gold Monarch.

小弟對膽真係冇常識，剛google過只知係NOS英國貨
我也剛入貨Genalex金獅復刻版，但未有機會開機聽，只細細聲煲緊

我也是初哥，原先在「33買二手英國KT88genalex Gold Lion,到賣家到試聽，他給我加聽 非全新Genalex Gold Monarch。最後我選了Genalex Gold monarch. 價錢貴Gold Lion些少。

聽D大棚嘢時加左 Black Box 明顯定D有台型D。
For around 8k I think BB is a good investment for V40 and V70 users.

How do u feel with the Gold Lion KT88, better than stock tubes?
I am also considering their KT77.

I recently replaced the stock 12ax7 (sovtek) with a china made brand "Full Music".
Not bad at all, even better than some vintage tubes in my amp.

I have no good impression on Sovtek, i think it is too edgy.  On the other hand, i like the sound from Gold lion since my Jadis which uses Gold lion as stock tube.

When comparing with Sovtek, Gold lion has a rich midrange but the speed and dynamic are still there.  I have a quad of Gold lion on hand and hence i instantly replaced the Sovtek with the Gold lion.  I think Gold lion will be your cup of tea if you want your octave with a better mid range.

On the pre stage, i still finding the right tubes.  my prelim finding is that the difference between 'old' tubes and 'new' tubes is just on taste, new tubes tend to be a bit more edgy but with better resolution and dynamic.

I agreed with your comments regarding vintage and modern tubes.
My friends who is a tube expert lent me siemens, telefunken and mullards 12ax7 for compair. I found vintage tubes more musical and smoother but the 2 end extension is not as good as modern tubes like Full Music and reissue TungSol. Specially the bass is a bit blur and soft with the vintage.
Afterall it's a matter of taste and system matching.
