Hi, I am considering a used EMM Lab DAC2, wonder if it support DSD on all digital input (AES?).  I learnt from EMM Lab product page that there is a DAC2X v2 whcih can support DSD.  Can any Ching share the experience for the DAC2 on DSD decoding?  Many thanks.

Thanks Ching for the clarification of DAC2X V2.  How about the the previous version of DAC2?  can DAC2 support DSD on all digital input including AES?

For DAC2X (ver1), as tested, it only supports DSD64 via USB streaming and EMM Optilink

my TSD1 cd tray cannot open smoothly today after I haven't switched it on for months.  should i go back to jadis for repair?

TSD1 adopts SACD transport by stream unlimited. You are advised to approach Jadis for help as no such new transport available from market.

just called them today and they are not sure whether there are still parts available.  if no longer available, does that mean i have to throw away my TSD1???

As I knew a few of people to use opbox for installing it into OPPO 203 as interlink for transport. I think it was a transitional period that Esoteric did not supply VOSP transport to Playback Design while PD proposed OPBOX as an interlink for CDS/ SACD plackback function. After MPS8 was announced, the existence of opbox was no longer needed .
