I think the Used Audio Note M6 will have more seductive and sweet vocal and Airy soundstage than teh ARC Ref. 5SE, but the 5SE will have better dynamic contrast, energy, overall texture than the AN.

I recommend Option 1.  This is a no brainer.

Options 2 and 3 cannot ensure good match between pre and power amps.

IMHO, Pass Labs would sound best with XLR connection, and I never knew any audiophile using the Jadis/Pass Labs combo, I don't think option #2 is a good choice.....

For option #1, if budget is allowed, XP-30 or a Used XP-30 would be much better than the XP-20. XP-30 have much better mid-range texture and larger, details sound stage than the XP-20.

Option #3 ARC/Pass Labs combo was used by various HK and overseas audiophile, to me, the vocal and timbre is really not so enjoyable at my place with the LS27 mated with X250.5........I would suggest you at least audit the similar ARC/Pass Labs combo personally before making the decision, maybe you love the ARC/Pass Labs presentation......

我之前聽朋友用Ref.5SE夾REF.110推Salon2. 我覺得聲音比較薄，但分析力動態都okay.

不如真接A200mono，第日想既話買多兩部bridge埋一齊。推乜都夠月。

這組合我都用過黎推出晒名薄聲底既屏風.

可能我部cdp都係用埋cd8, 線材又有cardas clear. 所以我一d都唔覺得薄.

感謝師兄的建議，小弟十分喜愛4365，而又見好多師兄用金仔來推，雖然小弟從未聽過金仔聲，奈何小弟一直對日本機有偏見，害怕典型的日本聲，但經過咁多師兄建議，睇黎真的要搵一次認真地聽一聽金仔先，謝謝！

Audio Research combo 都薄声？相信是用錯線材或供电有問題吧！

My experience is same as jj338 c-hing that ARC preamp did not match well with Passlabs power amp. The gain tended to give too loud and rough sound, maybe bcos their impedances did not match.

another good choice is to use Boulder amps with JBL speakers.

唔知點解會有師兄會話PASS LABS唔夾4365,我位朋友就正是用4365,佢係PASS迷,一直都係用PASS推4365,一直都好滿意,最近他也升級了XP30,而家一套西裝XP30+X600.5Mono推4365,可以說是翻天覆地,有速度有動態,相信這樣的表現金仔未必做得到
