Hi ciao hing ,

it should work with most of the Linux version,  I tested Cubox/NAS and Ubuntu LInux and LKS got NO problem with them.  

I did testing for most of the Linux system already in last few months.

LKS with clock and Furutech AC inlet is a good gear for sure!

I am using your pci-e usb3.0 card. It was certain a frog's leap upgrade from the original usb port of my gigabyte motherboard. A greater micro dynamics give music instrument sounds more realistic, trumpet sounds more metallic but yet more melodic, plucking of guitar's chord followed with the chord vibration are more significantly conceived. I am using sata power cable made from cardas 9.5 awg copper litz hook-up wire by myself. Next thing I would do is to make a linear power supply solely for the femto clock module on the card. I will keep you informed of the result.

I am new here and own the L.K.S.-equivalent DAC (ES9018 dual mono), QA660 and D100 Pro Deluxe.
As you may be aware, QA660 and D100 Pro with their latest firmware give DSD64 (DoP) signal over S/PDIF (QA660 also through I2S), but the L.K.S. DAC's S/PDIF input does not accept DoP.
I found a blog by a Japanese DIY enthusiast that he had made a converter from S/PDIF to raw DSD.  His converter can handle PCM as well with automatic switching between DoP and PCM, i.e., a perfect solution for connecting the L.K.S. DAC via its I2S/DSD input (RJ45).
Can anybody reading this post make and sell such a converter box?  I believe all the owners of the L.K.S. DAC and D100 Pro/D200/QA660 want to have this!

Hi Ben,

After a couple of weeks of diying, I have finished a simple linear power supply using LT317 voltage regulator. All wiring and connections inside the LPS and connection between LPS with Femto module are made using Jensen 1mm pure silver wire and 999 fine silver thick plate.

Now let's move to my subjective view about the impact of using the LPS. I am using audiogate and win7 as my reference. With the LPS supplying the power to the femto module on the PCI-e card, there is a sense of expansion of the whole sound stage with depth of sound field extension bigger than the width. More micro details like the short breath of trumpet players before blowing his instruments within the music can be heard. Music presentation as a whole is relaxed and natural without any stress on any part of the music spectrum. Conclusively to my ears, the introduction of LPS only adds to the enjoyment of my music.

Great works!  for the linear psu for USB mod card!  I believe it make quite a differences.  I am also making linear psu for my USB card also!!!!

Hi Ben,
I am building a low noise linear power supply with dual voltage 5V(2A) & 12V(4A) output for HDD. As the current output is more than enough to power the HDD, perhaps it can supply power for the pci-e card as well. As the card also needs 3.3V supply, can you PM me the maximum current requirement for this power rail.
