Just want to see how hard or easy it is, since I understand for Auralic Aries you need to install Minimserver on your NAS.

1. HDD只係support Fat32, 玩唔到ntfs. 唔係太方便
2. 讀唔到SACD-ISO, 有ISO既朋友要自己慢慢爆返做dsf
3. 用原裝remote選歌既話唔太方便, 要用ipad去選先OK
4. 用network streaming讀唔到DSD file (唔知我有冇set錯)

Interesting to know, my thoughts:

1. HDD只係support Fat32, 玩唔到ntfs. 唔係太方便 - agree, would be a pain if HDD needs to be formatted for different player

2. 讀唔到SACD-ISO, 有ISO既朋友要自己慢慢爆返做dsf - is there any brand name player that support ISO playback?  I think there is a licensing concern involved about supporting ISO

3. 用原裝remote選歌既話唔太方便, 要用ipad去選先OK - I think most users are used to app already, even Touch users

4. 用network streaming讀唔到DSD file (唔知我有冇set錯) - now that's interesting, if a dedicated streamer cannot grab dsf/dff files from a NAS, to me it is a handicap, even Oppo can do that without problem.  Hope you can find a way to play theses files from NAS

I have a feeling that DSD can only be played through USB, but I am most happy proven wrong.

I just believe dsd can only be played from their usb connection only for the moment , except a few exotic brand which can simply output dsd signal from its own output!
Therefore I use a  korg recorder for dsd playback.

I can stream both DSD64/128 (DFF format) from media server (i.e. DLNA/UPnP) running on Synolog Diskstation. The only complaint is the interface is not stable when selecting DSD128 manually but no problem when playing them sequentially. DSD64 is just fine and smooth.
