Après Digital Projection (dVision 35 WQXGA-XB) et Projectiondesign (F35 et avielo optix), Sim2 devrait annoncer très bientôt un projecteur mono-matrice DLP au ratio 2.35:1. D'une résolution native de 2560x1600 (WQXGA), la matrice sera utilisée en 1920x1080 sur les films au ratio 16:9 et en 2538x1080 pour les films au ratio 2.35:1 afin de conserver la résolution verticale d'origine du Blu-ray (constant height). Il est fort probable que la machine soit également capable d'afficher jusqu'à un ratio de 2.37:1 en résolution 2538x1080 car cela correspond à la résolution horizontale native de la matrice. Si pour l'instant, la marque italienne n'a pour le moment diffusé aucun communiqué officiel, les rumeurs, dont nous avions fait état dès avril 2010, se font de plus en plus persistantes.

Attention, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué ça et là sur Internet, le futur projecteur de Sim2 ne sera pas 4K mais 4 Megapixels. Le 4K correspond en effet à la résolution horizontale supérieure à 4000 pixels de large (4096 pour être précis) et ne doit pas être confondu au nombre total de pixels (4 096 000 pixels soit 4 Megapixels).

Le prix ne devrait pas excéder 20 000€ selon nos estimations.

HT4000系列中的HT4240是一款採用WQXGA解析度的機型，採用2560×1600的DMD晶片但取其中的2560×1080來使用，如此就可獲得2.35：1超寬銀幕電影的觀賞需求。

相對於一般Full HD解析度投影機需搭配Anamorphic變形鏡頭，才能獲得1920×1080的2.35：1比例畫面，以HT4240來觀賞2.35：1的電影時，不但不必加裝Anamorphic變形鏡頭，畫面解析度還可達到更高的2560×1080，真可說是電影愛好者的福音。

採用Triple flash - 24 Hz x3 per eye = 144Hz, 這樣可以省去3:2 pulldown的副作用.
