申7:1 耶和華妳　神領妳進入要得爲業之地，從妳面前趕出許多國民，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七國的民，都比妳強大。
When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
申7:2 耶和華妳　神將他們交給妳擊殺，那時妳要把他們滅絕淨盡，不可與他們立約，也不可憐恤他們；
And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
申7:3 不可與他們結親，不可將妳的女兒嫁他們的兒子；也不可叫妳的兒子娶他們的女兒，
Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
申7:4 因爲他必使妳兒子轉離不跟從主，去事奉別　神，以致耶和華的怒氣向妳們發作，就速速地將妳們滅絕。
For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
申7:5 妳們卻要這樣待他們：拆毀他們的祭壇，打碎他們的柱像，砍下他們的木偶，用火焚燒他們雕刻的偶像。
But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
申7:6 因爲妳歸耶和華妳　神爲聖潔的民，耶和華妳　神從地上的萬民中揀選妳，特作自己的子民。
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
申7:7 耶和華專愛妳們，揀選妳們，並非因妳們的人數多于別民，原來妳們的人數在萬民中是最少的。
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
申7:8 只因耶和華愛妳們，又因要守他向妳們列祖所起的誓，就用大能的手領妳們出來，從爲奴之家救贖妳們脫離埃及王法老的手。
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
申7:9 所以妳要知道耶和華妳的　神，他是　神，是信實的　神，向愛他、守他誡命的人守約施慈愛，直到千代；
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
申7:10 向恨他的人當面報應他們，將他們滅絕。凡恨他的人，必報應他們，決不遲延。
And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
申7:11 所以，妳要謹守遵行我今日所吩咐妳的誡命、律例、典章。
Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.
