現代爵士樂明星 Bob James 將於2025年1月16日再次到香港表演，帶同 James Adkins ( 鼓 )，Michael Palazzolo ( 低音結他 )與 Andrey Chmut ( 色士風 ) 組成四重奏進行演出。

Bob James 曾19次獲得格林美獎提名，亦於1979年和1986年贏得獎項。即使你不熟識爵士樂，你也很大機會聽過他的歌曲。Run-DMC, Missy Elliott, Beatie Boys 和 Will.I.Am 都有sample過他的作品。Bob James的作品對現代 Hip-hop / Urban 音樂影響深遠，從Pharrel到Kanye的作品都可以找到他的足跡。

The modern jazz icon, Bob James returns to HK since his last concert here in 2019. This time he performs with an impressive ensemble with James Adkins ( drums ), Michael Palazzolo ( bass guitar ), and Andrey Chmut ( Saxophone ).

Bob James, the multi-Grammy awarded pianist behind timeless songs like "Nautilus", "Angela" ( Theme from Taxi ), and "Westchester Lady", will be playing all his greatest hits at the gorgeous Applause Pavilion venue in Ocean Park with his Quartet. Even if you're not familiar with jazz, you might have still come across James' music, which has been sampled by the likes of Run-DMC, Missy Elliott, Beastie Boys and Will.I.Am, just to name a few. Infact, Bob's songs have been sampled so much that his sound has influenced a whole generation of musicians and producers from Pharrel Williams to Kanye West. You can hear the piano legend's imprint across many different styles of music, in particular HipHop/Urban beats throughout the 80s and 90s.
